Session Description

With pay equity legislation being passed in many states and the minimum wage on the rise in most states in the NorthEast, your compensation plan will be a key factor in your ability to attract and retain key talent to move your business forward. This delicate balance between managing costs and retaining talent requires a long-term strategy on how to approach compensation across your organization. In this session you will learn how to approach a pay equity process, including how to measure comparability between positions and establishing levels or pay grades. You will also learn the importance that pay transparency and the increases in minimum wage over the next few years will will have on your workforce and what you can do now to best prepare for these disruptions.

 


Patti D’Amaddio, SPHR

Patti is the Director of Compensation Services for EANE. She brings over twenty years of HR experience to the EANE HR/Legal Team. Patti has held executive HR positions with businesses involved in product design, development and manufacturing and most recently served over 10 years as the Director of Human Resource for a $300M division of a nationally based IT and Engineering outsourcing services firm. Having managed the full spectrum of Human Resource services, Patti possesses particular strength in the areas of Employee and Labor Relations, Organizational Design and Development, Compensation and Benefit plan design.

Patti holds a Masters of Business and Human Resource Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), completed her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resource Management.
