Three Ways You’re Not Thinking About Turnover (Yet)

Many HR professionals serve their organizations with employee turnover metrics that reflect the traditional structure of their companies: by department, team, and office location. While these are a critical start to the journey of studying turnover, they are not naturally tied to strategic talent priorities, and can be challenging to action. This session will introduce three new views of turnover tied to common talent initiatives paired with discussion about how these new views can drive more directly to action.
Eric Knudsen is the Senior Manager of People Analytics at Namely, the all-in-one HR software platform for mid-sized companies. Prior to Namely, he worked in analytics across industries including education, aviation, and technology. Eric is also a published researcher, contributing to publications in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Encyclopedia of I-O Psychology, and the Handbook of the Psychology of Recruitment, Selection and Employee Retention.
