The Emergence of diversity in today’s workforce brings new demands to HR professionals sourcing talent . HR professionals need to go beyond the algorithm and consider alternative strategies to source the best candidates who will work for business success. Participants will a new definition of diversity, identify how unconscious bias influences candidate decisions and develop strategies to increase their own skills as a professional.
Deb joined SNHU in March, 2018 bringing with her 25 years of human resource leadership experience at the C-Suite level. Deb has completed four strategic human resource redesigns in health care systems ranging in employee size of 1500 to 3700 and has over 18 years of teaching experience in higher education. Deb brings great passion, enthusiasm, new thinking to the development of HR professionals. In addition to a Masters in Non-Profit Administration from Western Connecticut State University, Masters in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and graduate education in human resource development and research, Deb holds the designation of SPHR.
